Year 5 - Year 8 Mixed Hardball Grades
Year 5 Grade (mixed)
Aimed at children in Year 5 at school. First year of ‘hardball’ cricket. Players wear pads and helmets when batting. Batters play in pairs. Games are 20 overs, and are usually scheduled for start times of 8:30am or 11:00am around the Hutt Valley (half the games will be at home at Petone Rec).
The subs for the season is $95 per child, and we invite all new comers to give it a go.
Year 6 Grade (mixed)
Aimed at children in Year 6 at school. Second year of ‘hardball’ cricket. Players wear pads and helmets when batting. Batters play in pairs. Games are 20 overs, and are usually scheduled for start times of 8:30am or 11:00am around the Hutt Valley (half the games will be at home at Petone Rec).

Year 7 Grade (mixed)
Aimed at children in Year 7 at school. Continuation of ‘hardball’ cricket however games are 30 overs. Players wear pads and helmets when batting. Batters play in pairs. Games are usually scheduled for start times of 8:30am or 11:00am around the Hutt Valley (half the games will be at home at Petone Rec).

Year 8 (mixed)
Aimed at children in Year 8 at school. This is the last year of ‘hardball’ Junior Cricket before they start playing for their college.
Year 8 players only play half season (until Christmas) and many of our Year 8 Alumni have always enjoyed playing together before heading to College. Players wear pads and helmets when batting. Batters play in pairs. Games are 30 overs and usually scheduled for start times of 8:30am or 11:00am around the Hutt Valley (half the games will be at home at Petone Rec).
The subs for the season is $70 per child (half season), and we invite all new comers to give it a go.
